Understand “Original” in Bulk Edit Meta Tags

The “Original” meta tags are the meta title and meta description that were synced from your Shopify store before you first optimized them in the SEOWILL app.

Example workflow:

1. Before your first optimization in SEOWILL, the app syncs the existing meta tags from your Shopify store (we’ll call this version “A”).
2. You perform your first optimization in SEOWILL → meta tags are updated to version “B”.
3. You make further changes to your meta tags inside or outside SEOWILL → new version becomes “C”.
4. Clicking “Restore” will revert the meta tags back to version “A”, i.e., the state right before your first SEOWILL optimization.
